Our Ethos

We strive to develop thoughtful, fulfilled citizens who have the capacity to think imaginatively, communicate effectively, and relate compassionately. We believe in educating the whole human being: head, heart and hands, and in nurturing well-rounded individuals who will be successful in school and beyond. Potomac Crescent Waldorf School is accredited by the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA) and the Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America (WECAN).

​Our school is not equipped to support students with severe learning or behavioral challenges. However, many students with diverse learning styles thrive with our Waldorf curriculum.
