OUR ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Admissions for Preschool, Kindergarten & Elementary Programs

We are currently accepting applications on a rolling basis for the 2020-2021 school year. Because of our commitment to social distancing to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we have made adjustments to our application and admissions process. Please read the following for details about the admissions process for each program we offer.

Preschool and Mixed-Age Kindergarten Programs:

Step 1: Contact our Enrollment Coordinator; she will describe our programs and share resources to help you learn more about PCWS and Waldorf Education.

Step 2: Complete an application, including a teacher recommendation from your child's current school and release of school records if your child has previously been enrolled in school.

Step 3: Parent-teacher interview via videoconference (e.g., Google Meet, Zoom, Facetime). Our faculty will be in touch to schedule a time to talk.

Step 4: Enrollment decision. Our Enrollment Coordinator will be in touch with our decision as soon as possible following a submitted application and parent-teacher interview. Please note that if there are special circumstances (e.g., a child with special needs), the enrollment decision may need to be delayed until we are able to meet in person and determine the school's ability to meet the child's needs well.

Elementary Grades Program:

Step 1: Contact our Director of Admissions and Enrollment; she will describe our programs and share resources to help you learn more about PCWS and Waldorf Education.

Step 2: Complete an application, including a teacher recommendation from your child's current school and release of school records.

Step 3: Parent-teacher interview via videoconference (e.g., Google Meet, Zoom, Facetime). Our faculty will be in touch to schedule a time to talk. Depending on the age of the child, a parent-teacher-child video conference may be advised.
