Admissions for Pre-K, Kindergarten & Elementary Programs

We are currently accepting applications for the 2023-2024 school year. Please read the following for details about the admissions process for each program we offer.

Step 1: Contact our Director of Administration and Admissions, Kensei Phillips at admissions@potomacwaldorf.org; she will describe our programs and share resources to help you learn more about PCWS and Waldorf Education.
Step 2: Complete an application, including a teacher recommendation from your child's current school (Pre-K/Kindergarten or Elementary) and release of school records if your child has previously been enrolled in school. Please note: an application is not considered complete until all requested documentation has been received by the Director of Administration and Admissions.

Step 3: In-Person Student-Parent-Teacher Interview. Our faculty will review your application and contact you to schedule a three-day visit for the student.

Step 4: Enrollment decision. Our Director of Administration and Admissions will be in touch with our decision as soon as possible following a submitted application and parent-teacher interview. Please note that if there are special circumstances (e.g., a child with special needs), the enrollment decision may need to be delayed until we are able to meet in person and determine the school's ability to meet the child's needs well.

Tuition Assistance
If you are interested in pursuing financial assistance for tuition, please submit an application for Tuition Assistance.
If you have any questions about our programs or the admissions process, please contact us. We look forward to receiving your application and meeting you and your child!
